Die Arctic Monkeys wollen aggressiver und lauter werden, so die Band über ihr kommendes Album. Man wird dabei mehr Songs im Stile der Favourite Worst Nightmare-Single "Brianstorm" erwarten dürfen. Dabei will man sich (Überraschung!) an Queens of the Stone Age orientieren. Die Band hierzu wörtlich gegenüber dem NME: "We're all into Queens Of The Stone Age. When we got to play with them and see them live it gave us a kick up the a***. They are an inspiration, they show you can still have top tunes and loud, heavy songs, too. It's a lot more fun playing loud music - simple as that."
